5 Mental Health Tips to Overcome Millennium Tiredness


The notion of a millennium spent to the point of exhaustion is nothing new. Between the stress of social networks, the concert economy and living in a world that seems increasingly uncertain, it is a small surprise that we are exhausted. Not to mention the fact that our mental well-being is suffering.

And the evidence is there. Depression among young people of the millennium may be on the rise. The men of this generation are losing their hair at a young age. And since the 2016 elections, there has been a significant increase in the negative mental health of college students.

So, how can we take care of our mental well-being when it seems that the world is against us?

For me, the evaluation and creation of small and manageable tools to take care of my mental health really helped me. Each time I implemented a new practice, I located the effects of progress. And although these tools are not brilliant, sophisticated or have many products that can be labeled, they have been a great advantage in the positive improvement of my mental well-being.

That said, taking care of your mind should not add stress to your life. To do this, however, I discovered that it should involve small, achievable rituals that I am excited to do day by day. And if you can do them from the comfort of your home, or even in bed, so much the better! So, if you feel lost where to start, take a look at my top five tips below.

Ways to Get Rid of Millennium Tiredness

1. The power of ‘no’

As they grew up, many people were taught that the use of the word “no” had to be followed by a long explanation or excuse. I learned that “no” is a complete sentence and helps build boundaries in relationships.

Using the power of “no” can help you avoid burning all week. You may have to say “no” if you feel overloaded at work or in relationships. Every time I commit myself, I wonder if that commitment is beneficial or eliminated from my mental health. Ultimately, it is important to know and define your limits.

2. Enter the diary.

This is one of my favorites because it costs little or nothing. Keeping a diary can help you manage anxiety, reduce stress and deal with depression. It can help you improve your mood by allowing you to prioritize fears, problems and concerns.

It also allows you to control the symptoms you may have due to a mental health condition on a daily basis. This will allow you to recognize the triggers and learn ways to control them better. 3. Yoga Bedroom

I know you’ve heard about the power of yoga dozens of times, but let’s face it, a few days taking a shower can only be a chore, it does not matter if you have a one-hour session in your local yoga studio.

I recently took advantage of the power of yoga classes on YouTube and discovered some “less than 10 minutes” routines that helped me feel like I did something that day. During personal episodes of depression, I would feel useless and incomplete. But knowing that I achieved something helped me stimulate my thoughts during the day.

4. Recognition lists

I was introduced to this beautiful tactic at a meeting of the Sad Girls Club. The rules are very simple: keep a pillow near the bed and every night before bed, write a list of the 10 positive moments that happened during the day.

Choosing 10 makes the list a bit more challenging, but it also helps you reflect on the small highlights of your day. When you feel depressed, you can reflect on the list of beautiful moments that have made you happy. Also see: An amazing health with Muay Thai boxing program

5. Create a “finsta” account

Social networks can be a gift and a curse. But if the pressure to keep a “perfect person” on traditional social media platforms is exhausting, then a window might be perfect for you. This platform, a kind of second Instagram account, offers a more unfiltered experience.

In your finsta account, you can be as stupid and unpolished as you want, stay informed with friends and accounts that inspire you. This type of account helps you speak freely without fear of being judged by your colleagues or family members.

Finsta can also help you take care of your mental well-being. In fact, Finsta has helped many members of the Sad Girls Club share their experiences and experiences of mental health, not to mention advice.

Caring for your mental well-being should not mean making your life more stressful

While it is important to take care of your mental health, regardless of the state you are in, doing so should not add stress to your life. Instead, I encourage you to create a list of rituals that will excite you to apply to your daily program.

The diary and yoga in the room can be the first steps to create your own set of mental health rituals. By preparing a list of tasks that are unique to you, your program and your mental health, you can start working to improve your mental well-being.
