Yosemite now is having a Dark Mode for when you are working late at the night. Just head to the System Preferences >> General and then click on “Use dark menu bar and Dock” button from there. Both will go to dark and will be alittle easier on your eyes.
2. SHARE YOUR SCREEN FROM MESSAGES:
Screen sharing is even easier in the Yosemite. If both the users have Messages then you can click the ‘Details’ button and click on the screen sharing icon to share your screen with someone. This can do make tech support alittle easier for users.
3. INPUT SIGNATURE (VIA) TRACKPAD:
You will be glad to know that you can now use the ‘Trackpad’ on your Mac-book to sign the documents. Just load up any document in Preview (or using Markup on Mail) then click on the signature button and choose the ‘Trackpad’ option from there.
4. RECORD YOUR IOS SCREEN:

Now you can record iOS device’s screen. While it is not particularly useful for most of people but it is the good feature if you want to record videos of whatever you are doing on your iDevice. Unfortunately, you will have to connect your idevice to Mac with the help of cable and then load up any of the recording program to find out your idevice listed as the camera.
5. FLYOVERS AND BRIDGES IN MAP:

Apple has just added its 3D Flyover feature to its Maps. You have to just type the name of a supported city and then click on the “3D Flyover Tour” button which off you go.
6. QUICK TYPE ANYWHERE:
Apple has added a iOS 8 like Quicktype feature to the Yosemite. When you are writing in any application, just click the ‘ESC’ key to bring up the suggestions for next word.
7. MUTE MESSAGE THREADS IN MESSAGES:

Now you can easily mute conversations in ‘Messages’app just like you do on iOS. Just click the Details button and select “Do Not Disturb”.
