1. Meta description and Meta Keywords

To get your blog fully inserted into search engines, you should have to add Meta description and Meta keywords into the blogger template. Blog description should be about 150 characters and Keywords should be between 10-15 based on your blog’s content. Follow Steps to add Meta description and Keywords to Blogger.

2. Optimization of Post Titles

In some templates, Blog title is shown before the Post title in the search results which may cause less visits to your blog. You should change this setting by following the simple steps below in order to brink post title before blog title.

Go to Templates >> Edit HTML and Click anywhere between HTML codes and press Ctrl+F

Type <blog.pagetitle></blog.pagetitle> or similar

Replace it with the code give below:

3. Choose Custom Permalink

Permalink is the link of your blog posts which blogger make automatically when you publish a new post. It may be lengthy or contain underscore tags “_” so while publishing a post you should choose custom permalink from post settings and make a small & better permalink and also remove Underscore tags “_” from it if given.

Note: You cannot change permalink after publish post, in order to change permalink copy the post and create a new one.

4. Create Image Alt Tags and Attribution

Adding image alt description and Attribution can help you in getting good number of visitors as it is the important SEO settings for blogger. You can add Alt Tag by cliking on image and select properties where you can fill title and alt description. To add Attribution, simply select attribution by clicking image in post editor.

5. Add Labels and Search Description

There are also two options provided in the post settings into which you can fill keywords and description related to your post. It is important for the SEO settings for blogger to show blog posts in search engines and it will help visitors to feel flexibility.
